#1- IHM, Pusa, New Delhi
Established in 1962, IHM Pusa is one of the top central government hotel management colleges in India.
To get into this government hotel management college you have to sit for the NCHMCT JEE exam and then according to your marks, and the cut-off put up by the colleges, you’ll get your college, with the highest cutoffs being for the IHMs in Bangalore, Delhi, and Mumbai.
The Hotel Management courses here are for about 3 lakhs for the duration of the whole course which is of 3 years.
This college has everything you would need for a fulfilled education in hotel management, from Basic Training rooms, larger kitchens, training labs for housekeeping, food science, food production, bakery, and other kinds, you’ll find different labs assigned for everything.
The campus also has basic amenities such as a gym, sports complex, several auditoriums and seminar halls, and laundry services as well.
There are separate hostels for boys and girls, housing 100 and 36 students respectively per year. We would suggest getting into one of the several private hostels around the campus, as the in-campus hostels are less than ideal and reportedly not worth it.

Established in 1954, IHM Mumbai is the first of its kind, as it was launched by the All India Women Central Food Council, a reputed NGO in India.
The infrastructure of this place will leave you in shock, what is not here is the question. From advanced training labs, and individual training labs to mock bars and training restaurants, this government hotel management college will provide it all.

Although it is a relatively small college the facilities here are plenty, they have everything you need for understanding your degree, from Advanced kitchens to Quality kitchens and even a Mock Bar for you to practice in!
The fees here are quite low when compared to that of other government hotel management colleges, at about 2.1 lakhs for the duration of the three-year course, along with other expenses.
There are in-campus hostels for both boys and girls although again the number of beds for girls is quite less than those allotted to the boys.

#10- DIHM Lajpat Nagar
Established in the year 1983, DIHM is also a state government hotel management college and is reputed for its courses in Hotel Management.
The college has a plethora of facilities, with its guest training room, seminar room, and other labs and training rooms which are available at the different government hotel management colleges in India, where everything is updated regularly and knowledge is given preference above all.
The only downside of this college is that there are no in-campus hostels available whether for girls or boys. Students have to put up in private hostels surrounding the college campus or stay in PGs for the duration of their course.
